Join us for a summer of music! Our study abroad program offers the rare opportunity for students to study privately with world-renowned musicians in the areas of piano, violin, viola, cello, children choir, Chinese. The curriculum also requires students to participate in chamber music, piano literature, and music theory classes over the course of the four week program. A yoga class is included, although not required, it is strongly suggested. All too often, musicians develop enormous amounts of tension in their bodies due to lack of awareness. This class is designed to target the causes of this physical strain, as well as helping students learn to quiet and control the focus of their minds, whether in performance or in everyday life.

This camp is open to students who are 13 years old and above. EVERY STUDENT MUST HAVE A VALID PASSPORT (meaning NOT expiring less than 6 month prior to returning to the US). Students under the age of 18 must provide a NOTARIZED letter of parental consent stating that the student has permission to go abroad under the supervision of Laurent Boukobza (see application form).

For the France portion of the trip, the students will be staying in Saint-Maur-Des-Fosses (a suburb of Paris) in a charming hotel, steps away from the “Conservatoire de Musique” where they will receive daily musical instruction (see schedule below).

For the Belgium portion of the trip, the students will be staying at a culinary School in Bruges. Bruges is a very small city, filed with thousand years of histry (some church are from the 700s! Lessons will be taken at the Culinary Schoo which is walled in all the way..a very very safe place
